Re: OCTGN Lulz

This is easily the best thing to ever happen to me on OCTGN: <vinegarymink> Erm <vinegarymink> Are you aware that [Domestic] Sleepers is still only worth 1 point <harmen> ? <vinegarymink> No matter how many times you click it harmen has closed their game window left the game. They did not crash or ...

Re: Order & Chaos

Gagarin is easily the most interesting of the Weyland IDs for me . It's the only one that promotes a totally new playstyle for the faction - going horizontal. This has never been something Weyland had any support for, but with Exec boot camp out now and the deluxe sure to bring some more assets I'm...

Re: Order & Chaos

It would be a shame for The Source to be outshined. Hopefully we actually get a couple of weeks at least so Industrial Genomics gets its chance to shine outside of Weyland's shadow.

Re: New Player - Cheshire

Hey all, My name is Jacco and I've recently moved to Twemlow Green. Not sure how long I'll be here (temporary move, long story), but I figured I may as well try and make the best of the time I am here. I'm a new player, although I've had the game for a long time and have been keeping up with the ex...

Re: Lunar Cycle Spoiler Thread

Universal Connectivity Fee - ICE Trap: Rez 2, Str 2 -> The Runner loses 1c unless the Runner is tagged. If the Runner is tagged, he or she loses all credits in his or her credit pool and the Corp trashes Universal Connectivity Fee. That seems horrendous stuck behind a data raven. I may well dust off...

Re: Netrunners.co.uk needs you!

Would be interested in doing a "faction history" series of articles, looking at individual factions win rates (via stimhack and OCTGN data) and then analysing which cards seemingly effected the changes. Is that something the site might interested in?

Re: NetrunnerDB creator sent a cease and desist letter

I preferred the old version to netrunnerdb anyway! I like always being able to see my decklist, selecting cards in a separately scrollable panel. I know Meteor does that too but it doesn't seem to work so well. The one function cardgamedb is lacking which netrunnerdb already has is a 'number of cor...

Re: NetrunnerDB creator sent a cease and desist letter

Edit: oh and I also use cardgamedb and don't understand the crazy love for netrunnerdb, the deckbuilding side of it is HORRIBLE, tho the community aspect seems pretty cool and could certainly be better integrated and promoted in cardgamedb One thing that is important to note is that Cardgamedb did ...

Re: Lunar Cycle Spoiler Thread

I've been playing E3/Overmind/D4V1D builds (Imp + Cache too) and Aesopping them off, that's been working pretty well so far. I avoided Siphon recursion as my first test with her because that leads to a very stale meta. It does work with her ID though. It does seem that if Quetzl takes off then that...

Are you interested in receiving submissions on thoughts on Upstalk or the Spaces Between? It has been awhile since the set reviews and the ones on this site were always my favourite :)

Re: [Noise] Mass Install

One card I will comment on is Mass Install, which I did test in a 'rara Noise deck, without Cache, but quite similar to yours. To be blunt it never got played. In order to keep pressure on the corporation I needed to often be installing a constant stream of viruses (I just spent 10 minutes confirmin...

Re: Podcast - Run Last Click

Excellent episode, you guys definitely cut to the heart of Supermodernism in this episode. Once you actually get into the mindset of Supermodernism, I would actually argue it is *easier* to run than other decks, though it is a lot more tense... Kudos for all the shout-outs for all the people who con...

[Chester] New store selling Netrunner in Chester

Just to let people know, there is a new store in Chester (website http://www.wargamesupplies.co.uk/ ) that is selling Netrunner supplies. They are more focused currently on wargames and Magic the Gathering. They do, however, have a netrunner Games Night Kit, so I am trying to see if they are willing...

Re: Gen Con Prediction Thread

IIRC Upstalk is but Spaces Between isn't. I think the safe bets are Andy or Kate for runner, and any of the NBN identities, HB EtF, and Jinteki RP for corp. Hasn't Kate and Jinteki PE won the last 2 Gen Con? Kate and PE won the last one didn't they? Not sure on the one before that. I thought that o...

Each time you use an icebreaker to break at least 1 sub, so each time you activate an icebreaker power that breaks at least 1 sub. use morning star to break 20 subs on next silver - 2 credits use zu twice to break datapike - 2 + 2 credits Sac fae to break all of archers subs - 1 credit + dead fae A...

Re: 10 New Lunar Cycle Spoilers

D4V1D is definitely my favourite card, both for mechanic and flavour. Although not relevant yet, it is one of the best ways to shut down the Blue Sun combo of oversight AI --> Curtain Wall. I will lose to this card, when I have completely discounted the runner being able to get into a server. One th...

Re: The Great and Powerful Prof

I ran a Professor deck for quite awhile, fewer smaller breakers, but not too dissimilar deckwise. The first thing I would do is cut either the keyhole or the medium. They don't really synergise with each other. With the memory issues that the Professor has, I would cut the Keyhole. I am torn of cutt...

Re: Podcast - Run Last Click

Well, in a tournament of 15, GRNDL Supermodernism went undefeated (7-1 and 1st place overall), and it performed very well overall indeed. 3 of the games ended in Sea-Scorch (+ Scorch for 2 of those). One game was won by reaching 7 points (odd order of GovCon-->GovCon-->Hostile). All the games that e...

Re: Podcast - Run Last Click

I have run Supermodernism as a corp deck for a long time now (it will be the deck I take to the mini Manchester tournament tomorrow). I love playing quickly and I love risk taking in games, and Supermodernism fits that perfectly. Flipswitch and Sixtyten have covered a lot of the upsides and downside...

Re: Chester Netrunner Weekly meetup

Just a reminder and a bump that we are still meeting at the Forest House in Chester on a Wednesday. This week there is also the action of a world cup semi final, which due to where we sit, half the people will get a good view of!
