Re: Expo Regional

I nearly went with a core set Weyland, but bottled it last night. If I'd had another week of testing... Some people are thinking IG because a lot of players haven't practiced against it and therefore they think it might do well, but actually the Whizzard match up favours the runner arguably (if they...

Re: Spring 2016 Kits

There's double kit events weekend after this one round here, regrettably I'm already booked in for moar RPGs at another event all weekend. I really like the alt arts this time. Presumably there's more events to come however.

Good stuff!

Regrettably I'm an Oracle dinosaur and have no knowledge of this sorcery you call Python. Is it easy enough to learn?

How about two Turings? If Parasite is the answer to Turing on remotes we're in trouble.

Re: Abstract Nonsense - Katman MWL

I was thinking about 4tman and Co, so thanks for a starter list. I've not really played Kate, so don't know where to start! ;) Kind of feels like I'd want a Mimic, just to deal with Swordsman and avoid fannying around with datasucker counters versus Architect. Do you have enough memory options? Feel...

Tapatalk Busted

Hi!

I've mentioned it elsewhere, but to get it logged nice and early in the new year and on the jobs-to-do-list, Tapatalk seems unable to connect to the forum with a network error (get_config)

Any chance we can get this looked at at some point?

Many thanks!

Re: jinteki.net is....good?

Most things work these days, including Ash - and Account Siphon I've been nailing with my Val since before Worlds. It's sometimes a bit laggy, depending on people's connection (or Laurie's rubbish machine) but otherwise most problems are resovled quickly be pinging Minh. Might just be Team GB Worlds...

I think the idea is for Netrunnner related achievements, Gaz, not just personal objectives for the year.

What Chimpster said.

You might want to do the Clot thing as well, in which case they're extra important.

Re: Opus economy

I played a Chaos Theory MO deck to Store Champ victory earlier in the year and made about 5-6 top cuts with it in SCs too. Chaos Theory is a small deck, so you're more likely to find your economy engine quickly. She comes with added free memory, so you can cope with that early - add in Astrolabe and...

Re: Andy - Please don't play sweepsweek

I've never had FIS played against me and been upset as Corp, it's always good for me. I use Dirty Laundry in my Val because I have Massanori too. It's good in Andy because it allows you to run and get money with your big opening hand and also play DLR without losing clicks. Additionally it works wel...

Re: There is no jackson.

@king_mob how do you cope with the Val DLR type decks? Drug dealer normally means they've annoyingly got 6+ cards in hand (and Paparazzi is a thing), so the usual Traffic + Scorch is off the table. Additionally without ways to keep them out of centrals, there's a lot of Siphon action. Normal "C...

Great write up! I’ll try to remember the heart-felt epic I typed at work and redo it, as apparently while they let me view the forum, if I try to preview or post a response, that page is viewed as a security risk, so it handily eats all the typed text and blocks those pages. Thanks for that security...

So, Dave. Could you summarise a bit about how the trip went? I'm not called Dave, but will add my thoughts anyway, as everything is always all about me. It was great sharing a plane, although going for the Comfort+ seats meant I was somewhat divorced from the others. Still played OCTGN though and o...

Ah fun times! Great to relive some memories and also get a shout out! Good work from HGV, although in the time allowed he could only recount a fraction of the stories from the event.

Look forward to taking a bigger team next year!

Freelancer is certainly superior to All-Seeing Eye against Val. You know what though, taking away the Bad Pub gives you chance to score some shizzle without the Blackmail threat. Most of us were going 2x Archived Memories too, which makes it better. The fact you have to cut an Archived to fit in TA...

I'm currently at the workhouse so can't post links, but there's official footage of me vs Tagore in elimination round 7, and Zach vs Timmy (I think) footage, and a couple of Dave games. Team Covenant filmed half the top 16 tables, so there'll be me getting locked out by World Champion Dan and plenty...

Lukas L said on two separate occasions that the answer to WNP was Corporate Town, although how a high-influence, agenda-sacrificing asset that can be trashed is an answer to a neutral resource that won't be in a lot of decks, I don't know. I tested The All-seeing Eye and regretted not having somethi...

I want same proportion of Nordics for the Worlds, so six Brits in the top 16 (including me would be great, but a tad unrealistic).

It's got to be a Plague Bearer vs Baldy Tim grudge match final hasn't it!?
