Re: What Corp?

I recently shelved Blue Sun Takeover for a bit after maining it for months, but I was still in the mood for something dangerous (read: I wanted to be a total bastard), so I put together a new Jinteki PE deck. And holy hell is it fun having runners faceplant into Mushin'd overwriters or leaving agend...

Re: Theorycrafting: cards you'd like to see

It occurred to me what card I would want to make if I were World Champion. I think the answer is an alternative to Jackson Howard, something that is good enough to mean you'd spend influence on it instead of Jackson but which you wouldn't play AS WELL as Jackson Howard. I would want to try and shak...

Re: Data and Destiny announced!!

Interestingly, if you return to look at the announcement page, they've edited the card fan so that the back three cards' text have been obscured. Unfortunately for FFG the previous versions were already copied, filed away and theorycrafted for approximately 15 seconds after the original post went up...

Re: Pre-Nationals Corp Meta Analysis

Great article Dave :) I've been playing Government Takeover Blue Sun for a little while now, and I really think it's one of the strongest decks out right now. It's also one of the most draining to play against when they get the upper hand - much like RP, except instead of feeling hopelessly locked o...

Re: Which would you rather: pancakes or babies?

RP vs Noise is all about a battle for centrals. Use parasites to open up a gap on R&D or HQ, then hit them hard with Nerve Agent and Medium. Even if they manage to get an Eli or similar up, just click through it - it's still a threat they can't afford to ignore, so they'll need to get non-porous...

Hah, that's a great idea. One side just shows a hand reaching out from under the bedcovers for an alarm clock and the other shows a manic red-eyed twenty-something clutching a sheaf of papers and several cans of Diesel.

Re: 14th March - Bristol SC - "I should've played Maxx"

Great writeup man! Really enjoyed watching the finale - not often you get to see an honest-to-god mill win, but I guess that's what happens when Noise goes up against a 6-agenda deck! Like you said, The Foundry is just awful against Parasite recursion. I probably should have tried to capitalize on t...

I think having a tee with "A:NR Bristol Meta" on the back and a personalized slogan on the front is the way forward. Welp, I think I know what my slogan would be. Snare's my favourite card? Damn, that's just as good. I was thinking something that starts with W and rhymes with Lizard. All ...

Re: There's No Luck in Netrunner...

Psi games are an interesting case, since in a vacuum (i.e both players having a nigh-infinite amount of credits) it really is a 100% gamble, but that rarely ever actually happens. It can be disheartening when the corp has you totally locked out of their remote with Caprice (it's always Caprice), and...

Great writeup Andy! Gutted I couldn't make it, glad to see the Bristol crew holding the fort. Congrats to everyone! (but especially Bristolians)

Looking forward to Saturday!
