CRITICAL: Reading Regional MWL update

Hi all, if you are coming to the Reading Regional please be aware that the new FAQ, Tournament Rules and Most Wanted List WILL BE IN EFFECT. Johno and I discussed it and agreed it made no sense to roll one out without the other (since the dates straddled the event). Thanks Look forward to seeing you...

Re: Hardwired draft tournament, Sat 30th April

Good turnout today, and I hope everyone had good fun! The room was brimming with jank, and the 'cream' rose to the top, with Conrad and Guy finishing 1 and 2! Top jank moment I think I witnessed was Joey desperately mathsing out how much money he needed to break a 13 (or something) advanced Tyrant w...

Re: Stockport?

We have 3 of us Oxford boys going to Stockport (North West Regional) and I am in charge of organising some hospitality/travel arrangements. Are there any Reading lot that want to tag along? Ideally I'm looking at getting even numbers so as to make hotels most affordable. My initial hope is to get r...

They don't have to be manly mate. Just let it out!

Unfortunately my Pete sightings have not been recent enough to ask him about this. I do have one other potential attendee (Conrad)

Conrad would take us nicely to 12, so he'd be very welcome.

Re: Clones Are Not People: Democracy and Dogma Is Now Available

The current flavour of the month uses Bioethics to basically lock the runner out; you're taking three net damage every turn, get pinged by the occasional EMP, can't trash anything without many credits and taking even more net damage, and then you pretty much give up on the game, Netrunner and life ...

Re: Spring 2016 Kits

The printingon the polop in these kits is unimpressive from my initial inspection when they arrived. I quite like the art, but it seemed a bit blurry. Still at least 2 Corroder kits down here chimpster mate, though you'll have to fight off Joey for them. Not that he runs a corroder in his silly neti...

Re: Hardwired draft tournament, Sat 30th April

Currently wrangling dates for this. After being given the go ahead by 2 seperate people, including the events manager at the store, 5 minutes after I put up the event there were complaints about the date.

Obviously I'm less than impressed.

Watch this space. Will update you asap.

Hardwired draft tournament, Sat 30th April

We've acquired 12 full sets of the latest draft packs. I had a draft with them the other week and I think they're actually pretty well balanced and fun to play with. We're running a tournament at Eclectic Games in Reading on Saturday 30th April. Details: £5 entry. - Same entry as a regular tournamen...

April's tournament is on the 16th this month. Sadly we lost our slot to a sure to be hilariously undersubscribed 2 headed-giant Magic tournament at the prerelease. How much under subscribed by? Also I assume start time of 11am? cost £5? and 5 rounds of swiss? Well, there's currently no players sign...

I have no issues with this timing of awarding the Bell. All Bell awarding should be done at a time to maximise chat and jokes between the Redoxshot players.
