Re: 20.06.2015 Bristol BABW 1/24? Colours other than Yellow.
Nice report and congrats on the win! I tried Boot Camp Glacier and it seems like a really interesting, challenging deck to play. I'm going to keep playing with it I think, since it seems like one of the most skill testing Corp decks around at the moment. Who eats muffins during their break though. I...

Re: The Road to Nationals 2015 - Part 2
Part of getting better for me was working out when I'd won/lost because of variance, and when it was because of decisions I'd made. Generally I was pleased with my play throughout the tournament, and both of the Indexings were fired off at the right time given the circumstances. However it would be ...

Re: Salads
I'm actually not all that picky when it comes to salads, and this might be my secret to success. My favourite is the spinach and pine nut from Marks and Spencer though. I'm starting to think that salads might be old meta. Sunflower seeds and junebugs (as in the drink) make up a winner's diet now. ht...

Re: The Road to Nationals 2015
Cheers for the support guys! I agree with basically everything Xenasis said. The best deck is just the one that you reckon will give you the best chance of winning the tournament, and you need to take a lot of factors into account. Generally I feel like the best deck is consistent in and of itself, ...

Re: Nationals Crystal Ball
Not sure if it was on camera but Mark?? the Whizzard/NEH Butcher's Shop player had the win in hand against Alex in the Winner's Bracket final. Alex didn't clear a Data Raven tag, and Mark had triple Scorch in hand and a boatload of money. It was late, lots of netrunner had been played, but that was...

Re: Blacklist RP
There's a fine balance to be struck, because you really just want ETR for your scoring server. Also individual card quality is a factor - Markus obviously has a nice effect in RP, but Eli is just a much stronger card generally, and it's downside is mitigated on your scoring remote. Generally Glacier...

Re: Blacklist RP
Yeah that's exactly it. The downside of Clone Retirement getting taken is bad for RP for a lot of reasons. It makes Sundew easier to trash, decreases the usefulness of cards like Pup and it makes the ID ability worse. BP wrecks pup, sad face. Bit confused on what you mean by "makes the ID abil...

Re: Alt art idents in OP/GNK events
At worlds they were allowing someone to use a custom Wall of Static. I'm pretty sure that he had the card as normal in his deck, and then once it was rezzed he could add the Paper thing to it.

Re: 9/5/15 Oxford Regionals Report, Second Place
Just like to weigh in and say that one thing people might not know about Xenasis is how quickly he became the formidable player you know today. Him and I started playing against each other roughly a year ago when he was playing with unsleeved cards and splashed Easy Mark. He listened when I gave him...

Re: Blacklist RP
3 Clone Retirement in RP is asking for trouble. There's a reason that the RP decks that want to play a 1 pointer to lower their agenda density don't play it.

Re: 9/5/15 Oxford Regionals Report, Second Place
I'd just like everyone to know that I came up with the name Count Wongula.
Andrew and I have this good thing going where he builds or tweaks good decks for us to play, and then I think of names for them.

Re: ANRPC
Dan got a deal with Inked playmats for the SSCI and while this won't have as big of an audience you still might be able to strike a deal and make it worth the cost. I'd look into that stuff first and establish that it's a good use of resources before considering images and such. Another option is to...

Re: Rolling Girl
No I don't think you want Feedback Filter in the current meta. I would swap an ED for a QT because sometimes you do just need to dig through your deck as quickly as possible, and it gives you a volume of stealth credits too.

Quality Time or Feedback Filter were the common ways to use the last point of influence when Stealth Andy was all the rage a few months ago.

Re: Pre-Nationals Corp Meta Analysis
I've been thinking about revisiting this deck but was worried about IHW. How's it been doing for you? I played Punitive HB for a while but I abandoned it recently. It's a lot less common for Runners to be built to steal agendas by the skin of their teeth, making the Punitives a wasted slot. The Inf...

Re: ANRPC
Generally I dislike tournaments any more significant than a GNK without a cut, because it makes Tiebreakers even more important than they already are. However if the top 3 qualify I think you can justify it. OCTGN qualifier seems fine to me in theory, though you're at the mercy of the program. SSCI ...

Re: Tournament Stamina
My mental/tournament stamina is pretty good, so I thought I'd give my 2 cents. I'm pretty sure that part of the reason for this is luck and studying academic subjects with a lot of exams for the past 5 years of my life, so there are a few things that I think have helped. Food and drink has been ment...
