Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

It's a shame Shanodin didn't vote, she seemed keen to gain info from a lynch but has provided no voting info of her own. Elvortel was also unfortunately vote-quiet, only providing a single joke vote at the start of the class. When we have so little info the voting is likely to be one of our best so...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

Yup, I think we'll risk less by voting for no one, even if what we learn over night is "there are scum about".

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

I think the no vote plan also has merit. I could be persuaded to move my vote there if a concerns us forms, but I'll leave it where it is for now.

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

So, as per my previously stated suspicions, which double kindly pulled together info on, Mendax & Joey are on both lists (vanilla claims and Spring votes), and are right bang at the top of my suspicion lists. For now I'll go vote: Mendax , given some momentum, but I'm happy with either. I think ...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

Seemingly, we're back to a square one scenario then because all these claims are certainly plausible. My win condition gives absolutely nothing away either. My power definitely implies that bad stuff will happen (and that's all I'm saying on that for the time being) however, so something is definit...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

I'm also a lot more happy now we have undisputedHarry, Ron, Hermione claims. I think it adds weight to Spring's whole narrative. Happy to lay off him for now.

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

I'm Seamus Finnigan, Gryffindor, non-vanilla. Won't reveal my power as I'm also cautious about info dumping, but not so much as to create problems for myself. Personally, I'm suspicious of vanilla role claims. Can we get an updated tally? I realise this may mean we get in to interrogating powers, an...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

I'm also a little suspicious of Mendax, and not just for tradition... I don't buy powerless/vanilla characters in this game, and also he went to a lot of effort to look open while providing no real info we can use, and even if Spring is mafia, Mendax could be attempting to distance himself. If I'm w...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

Eek, lots of info already! Bad luck Spring, that claim has backfired badly. Unfortunately the "I'm useful don't kill me" line is easy to pull, and I'm suspicious. It could be true, but as others have mentioned, a non-claim, rather than a false claim, seems more likely behaviour from a powe...

Re: Computer games - What are you playing?

I'm a bit swamped all of a sudden. Have borrowed half of Sixtyten's PS3 collection (including the first Dark Souls), and my PC is finally working so I've all the steam sale items I've bought in the meantime to catch up on. Started Invisible Inc and enjoying it so far.

Re: Subterfuge game

Yeah, big disclaimer: people will scree you over, openly, behind your back, and after they promised they wouldn't (apart from me, I'm quite upfront about my over-screwing). Go in prepared for that, and take none of it personally, and it can be HUGE fun.

Subterfuge game

Hi all, I fancy another game of Subterfuge. Who's in? For those who don't know, Subterfuge is a slowly evolving, real-time strategy game for mobile devices, where players must form alliances, develop their territory, and out manoeuvre their opponents in order to control enough Neotunium mines to def...
