Re: June 3rd - Expo Regional - A tale of surprising success!

I love the toolbox nature of the Hayley decks though I am experimenting with a sans David build due to Navi grid coming out. We shall see!

June 3rd - Expo Regional - A tale of surprising success!

It was a reasonably early start to the day in order to get to the right room and get registered before 9:30. I had brought along a Pitchfork Hayley deck and a rush style Palana and was in a much better place mentally than I had been in the year before, that saw me giving the Nationals a wide berth. ...

Re: Tabletop Grid

You would be more than welcome to come along and I'm happy to teach the game and answer any questions you might have. The pool for this month's games does include the possibility of adding in a big box expansion but you are welcome to play whatever decks you have.

Hope to see you along on Thursday!

Tabletop Grid

This last Thursday I announced I would be running a beginner friendly Netrunner League at Tabletop Cafe in Edinburgh. This league will run over 3 months and is perfect for those looking to get into the game as you only need a single core set to join in! We are sorting out prize support at the moment...

Games Hub Edinburgh - Store Champ Report

After last week's crushing failure I ventured once more into a Store Championship with some tweaked decks in tow and a few lessons learnt. I had changed up my Corp deck a lot, focusing it more on the Glacier archetype, with a few Faust counters for good measure, and I had rolled back the changes to ...

Netrunner at Tabletop Cafe - Edinburgh

Every Thursday from 5 - 8pm at Tabletop Cafe in Edinburgh there are people playing Netrunner, GoT and the occasional shootout in Doomtown. I host demonstrations of the game as well so if you know anyone who wants to get into Netrunner but is having trouble learning the game send them along. The cafe...

Testing Ground

Hi folks, I've started doing NRDB deck of the week reviews to help me out with understanding the game better, getting more experience with different archetypes and to give me practice writing. Any thoughts, comments, criticism gratefully received. You can find my first one and it's follow up over on...

13/09/15, Casual, Edinburgh, 10th out of 56, Assaulting Hadrian's Wall

Cards up to Old Hollywood were legal for this tournament. The Hadrian's Wall Tournament was put together by a couple of friends and they did an amazing job. 56 players converged on the Victoria Park Hotel in Edinburgh and many nets were run, servers broken and brains fried in the pursuit of cybercri...

J-Pop

I took this deck 5-1 in the Hadrian's wall tournament in Edinburgh recently. I have found it to be very versatile being able to score out quickly, or build up a more taxing remote if the threat of film critic is about. Basic gameplan is to score out quickly, constantly pressuring the runner to stop ...

Resourceful Hayley

I came third at the Summer GNK event at Black Lion Games yesterday running a fairly standard Argus Supermodernism and this Hayley deck: Resourceful Hayley 1.12 Hayley Kaplan: Universal Scholar (Breaker Bay) Event (9) 3x Diesel (Core Set) 2x Indexing (Future Proof) 1x Levy AR Lab Access (Creation and...

Re: Valencia Theory Crafting

This is my first shot at a Valencia deck, focusing on getting a Bad Pub economy going. I am working on a new version at the moment: Valencia 0.1 Valencia Estevez: The Angel of Cayambe (Order and Chaos) Event (13) 3x Blackmail (Fear and Loathing) 3x Déjà Vu (Core Set) 2x I've Had Worse (Order and Cha...

I was wondering if you considered having the top 16 cut the next day so as to not make it such a long day for those who make it?

Re: NBN - Please try again

I think troll is really strong in the right deck and it has served me well so far. I am going to investigate some tagging closed accounts action or possibly the asset that drains creds when advanced.

Re: NBN - Please try again

Post now corrected. Whilst I agree manhunt is great I don't think it fits in this deck as I don't have the punishment to back it up. I have run something similar with more tags and psychoseasons and scorched earth as punishment to some effect. I think you are right about tmi, need to think on that. ...

NBN - Please try again

This is the NBN deck I took to the Stirling Tournament and it went 4-0. The idea is to make servers extremely taxing to get into, for minimum cost, using NBN's recurring creds to cause the runner headaches. I am probably going to get rid of matrix analyser and information overload for ICE more appro...

Re: The Endless Waltz - Leela Patel

Thanks for replying Dave. I am finding my problem tends to come from an early score when I am not setup fully as yet. I then get midseasons and am basically racing to win or get plascretes before the Scorch hits. Might have just been unlucky, might be my style of play. I had changed the deck up a bi...

Re: Netrunners.co.uk needs you!

Would an article on taxing NBN builds be of interest as I think they are still a viable, if less considered, type?

Re: The Endless Waltz - Leela Patel

I've only just got back into the game after a few months out but I've been running a variant on Dave's deck since i got running again. The main problems I've come across so far are draw, which dave addresses and I think earthrise is the better choice as John can get locked out and also makes you mor...
