Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

So, I believe that Chimpster is who he says he is. The flavour sort of fits and it's not the sort of ability that a scum player usually has. It's also extremely easy to prove whether he's lying or not (as he can fire the ability), so it'd be a rubbish bluff.. While I'm swayed by your line of thinki...

And yet, you've still voted for me just_rob? :P

Agree, smashman has been quiet, happy to switch my vote over there if we don't hear more from him soon!

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Basically: even if we pick at random we have better odds than if we don't lynch and let the jank kill overnight.

I'm a little suspicious of Chimp too, so happy to vote: chimpster for now.

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Hey hey, the gang is all here! Time for wild accusations to start flying.

I think it's PRETTY SUSPICIOUS that chimp is suddenly singling out Nememiah... yeah, he may be a asset to the jank team if that's what he is, but we definitely want him on our side if not!

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

The first day is always kinda cagey tbh, people aren't sure what to go for... We don't have mendax in who is a first day lynch magnet.

I'm happy to prod some people into voting with a vote: ouroborosglyx. Let's get some chat going!

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

2. To vote for someone, use the format Vote: Nemamiah. If it's not bold it doesn't count, and remember to add the space after the colon. You may Vote: No Vote if you don’t want anyone to be cursed. I mean, not saying this means anything, but Guy could have picked THEMSELVES as an example. So, you k...

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Hey fellow cards!

I'm pretty vital, 3 of in most decks I reckon. Think we need to strim down the jank. Anyone want to own up to being a copycat or a disruptor so we can boot them and play some PROPER netrunner?

Sorry Guy, I just went ahead and did it :P Always space for more, don't worry swiftie! Great to see fresh blood, it makes a change from Joey winning all the time. Avatars are useful as they help you find what particular players have said in the past when you're scanning back through old discussions....

There are regular meets on other days of the week, Monday in particular! Are you in the Edinburgh Card Games group on Facebook? It's definitely worth posting on there, plenty of people will be happy to join you for a game :)

Re: LF: Article Submissions

An idea that has come up on the slack is some pointers for running fan tournaments. Bring in some people like Tagore, Dan, Cj, Richard Hammond (not that one) and, well, me and Seamus, give some general advice on venue, prizes, structure; that kind of thing.

Re: Computer games - What are you playing?

Has anyone picked up Stellaris? Grand strategy space game, from Paradox (the Crusader Kings/Europa Universalis developers/publishers). I've got it, been playing a load over the last couple of nights, really enjoying it! Would be cool to set up a netrunners.co.uk multiplayer game if anyone else has it.

Managed to finally off Ornstein and Smough last night! About an hour of bashing against them, finally managed to kill them both and literally punched the air in triumph. Poor Solaire bought it in the fight, though...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

I love one night werewolf and I do think the key with it is to be dishonest as a rule, even as town. The more information you are able to reveal at different points, the easier it is to deal with allegiance switches. Very true. It clicked for me when I was a mason at one point and lied about being ...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

If Mendax was the minion, yeah... Chimp must have stolen Double's ID, then Cerb swapped us both, making me a wolf, then the wolf you had got swapped into the middle for the tanner. Being the tanner is tricky, let alone being the tanner when you DON'T KNOW you're the tanner! So, we should have PI, se...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

So, from what I can tell, Double was a wolf and Chimp stole his ID? Meaning Mendax had been a wolf all along!

I was the drunk, apparently I managed to take Tanner from the middle to be extra screwed over :P Interested to see what everyone else started with!

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

The thing is, I know I'm safe so if Cerb switched us there is no point voting for Tol :P I think honestly the best bet is to vote for Double. If he's a minion, it's next to impossible for us to win without any more wolves in the game anyway, and I don't have a read AT ALL on anyone else who might be...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

A hoy hoy, sorry for the lack of replies. Second person was Elvortel, they were the insomniac which I believe lines up with his claim. Managed to pick thoroughly uninteresting people to investigate. Looking at Chimp worked okay, mind, means I can verify him and he can verify Cerberus. I don't know i...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

Note that you could also be tanner aligned if I looked at Mendax's card!

Again, I didn't, I looked at Chimp and confirmed he's been telling the truth.

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

Until Cerberus clarifies, I don't know what I am (or not) - but the role for paranormal investigator says 'village aligned, can change alignment). So does that mean i could either be wolf-aligned, or village-aligned, depending on what Unitled did in the night (ie if he switched alignment, then I ge...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

Cerberus, Umm. You said early on that you'd switched mendax. But now you're saying me and unitled. What's the deal? This is a classic Troublemaker bait and switch here, been caught out by that one many-a-time! I did actually check Chimp as PI and saw he was the Robber. Main suspect still seems to b...

So... maybe a bit of a janky pack here? Any cards people are particularly looking forward to? Are the slums going to be the IG killer they appear to be, killing both Museums and avoiding Hostile Infrastructure at the same time!
