Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

Wonder if my work would accept my lynching as a suitable reason for missing work?

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

And as my lynch appears to be nearing, I will reveal that I am a Loyalist with a power that will be rather terrible for other Loyalists if you guys lynch me. So that is all that distinguishes us? And we are seriously believing that? Is that not hugely suspicious? I have said multiple times that I a...

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

Woah woah woah family, I am beginning to get a bit worried here that you are thinking of offing me, one of your own. There has been an awful lot of cagey people it seems, and I seem to be suffering (mainly because I was in the lead after my absence anyways). I Vote: Smashman , because his "don'...

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

So having contacted my sources (Translate: Spent 20 minutes reading the thread) I have a few people I think need to be investigated. I know that I myself am going to have to convince the family of my loyalty, but consider please Cerberus who despite saying that he would weigh in with comments has th...

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

I thought I had, although I guess I just missed one update and it doesn't send a new email unless you read the previous. I can only prostrate myself at our wise new leaders feet for the excellent judgement she made at not wanting me disposed of. The more of us loyal family members who survive the be...

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

Look whilst all thus squabbling is going on, somebody needs to be doing the graft to get this family where it needs to be and that's where I have been. We can't let the scum take our leader and our lives..... (Translate - for some unknown reason I haven't been getting the subscription updates and li...

Re: Mafia Mafia - Death and Politics - Day 1

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops in the ocean are dirty the ocean does not become dirty. We will end this murderous scum.

For the time being, however, I'll jump on the bandwagon and Vote Cenedra.

Re: [Gloucester] Winter GNK Wednesday Tournement 27/1/16

Hi everyone! Thanks for coming last night; it was great to meet everyone! The turnout was great for a midweek tournament and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. The results of the tournament can be found in the following: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yukdi7hasmcvnqo/AAAjOHzI3EC_2RJnElMUlGCoa?dl=0 I ha...

[Cheltenham] November Core Set Tournament

We have some new guys starting in our area and wanted to invite them along to a tournament on an even footing. It will also be a bit of nostalgia for those who were playing in Core set days (I wasn't!). Tournament Details: Venue: Gloucester Deaf Association, Colin Road, Barnwood, Gloucester, GL4 3JL...

[Gloucester] Tournaments

So we have been a bit lax lately with organising tournaments so its about time we got on and organised some! We are going to aim (venue permitting) to hold a monthly tournament with various levels of fun/seriousness/competitiveness. Given how popular the random ID tournament we recently ran was, we ...

Re: Reina denial

A few obvious comments: 1) Is a Turing on HQ or R&D not essentially game over? You currently have no means of breaking one and triple clicking through one regularly is a bit of a nightmare. Similarly, Swordsman. Wraparound is also annoying, but at least you can Knight it or pay your way through....

Re: NBN Econ Denial

I have been playing a deck with a similar concept, although in Making News. I really like Melange in your Adonis slot. The influence could go on a second Ash, more Ichi..... I understand why the Adonis (advertisement and all that). Just seems like a lot of influence for what is potentially a win mor...

Re: Cashe Hyper Market

For the record, this is my Cache Cow deck which operates on a similar premise. It's been pretty successful so far, although it needs to be modded slightly to include a Film Critic or 2. Cache Cow Revamped 2 Kate "Mac" McCaffrey: Digital Tinker (Core Set) Event (9) 2x Legwork (Honor and Pro...

Re: Cashe Hyper Market

Unfortunately you can't Clone Chip Hyperdriver, but the Cache is certainly a drain on your recursion. I think the breaker suite is fine, except I would find room for an Atman. Sharpshooter is a good safety valve, and also 3 credits for a click if you don't use it. I think your problem is a lack of r...

Re: Fun Tournament - June?

Question mark removed!

Nisei Division and Exile are Tier 1, don't know what you are talking about!

The funny thing is, this tournament is going to be a meta unto itself because there are unlikely to be any duplicate IDs and some normally unused IDs have been assigned. Could be interesting!

In terms of start/finish times, it will start at 7pm and will be 3-4 rounds of swiss depending on interest/peoples opinions on the day/numbers etc. Rounds will be an hour each.

Re: Fun Tournament - June?

Hi everyone! So tournament is all set for 24th June 2015 (I know you probably could have guessed the 2015, but I thought I'd be thorough). Should be fun and a bit of a laugh after Nationals. As described above, you will be assigned a random runner and corporation ID for the tournament so can I ask t...

And I am still really enjoying Escher; changing a scoring remote from Curtain Wall, Tollbooth, Hive to Lotus Field, Lotus Field, Datapike when you have Torch out is awesome :)
