Re: Mala Tempora Spoilers

Rumours that it will be available on our shores in the next couple of days. Bit skeptical but I live in hope!

Will be doing another set review and would love to have another 1-2 people other than Cerberus and I to provide their thoughts. Let me know if you're up for it!

Re: Wednesday Night Netrunner

Enjoyed it tonight chaps!

Great venue, seems like a good place to rope more people into it as well. Definitely need to try and get some tournaments running in the new year. One can never have enough Netrunner!

Re: Honour and Profit Announced! (Spoiler Discussion)

I'm more excited by the rumoured 'doppelganger' runner. Be interesting to see what his ability will be! I'd be more keen on Shilhouette if blackguard was cheaper, really powerful effect but probably at too high a price. Still, knowledge is power and being able to reveal a card per turn will kill Jin...

dat agenda dat chairman hiro dat mushin no shin* We Jinteki now. Mushin is off the wall amazing. Some real potential to rush out agendas quickly, especially if you only have to get to 6! Install Unorthodox predictions, advance twice. Next turn, score click 1, click 2+3 use Mushin to advance a 2-3 p...

Re: Wednesday Night Netrunner

The Mrs has shifted her work thing to Thursday, making me free for Wednesday! I'll be driving down as soon as the Mrs gets back from work (around 6:15pm) and can provide lifts if anyone else wants to go.

Let me know guys!

How do you Solve a Problem Like Jinteki?

Site article: http://netrunners.co.uk/articles/how-do ... nteki.html

How would you cheer up the Jinteki Nuns? Is there a significant card that I've missed? Do my photoshopping skills leave something to be desired?

Discuss!

[Cheltenham] Festive Tournament?

Being a layabout student, I wondered if anyone had some time over the festive period for a Netrunner tournament. I was thinking maybe one of the days between boxing day and new years eve if anyone else has any of those off? (Or maybe the saturday). We'll figure out a venue depending on numbers as I'...

I can't decide if Forged activation orders or emergency shutdown is a stronger splash for it. Both would be nice :p

Re: [Deck] HB Always Advance

Not entirely sold on the 3x Mandatory Upgrades, but that's because I'm not a fan of that agenda, it's just too hard to score. I love the fact there is a Project Ares in this deck and a Simone Diego, I love that card but she usually gets strimmed in my Weyland decks unless it's dedicated BWBI. Why E...

Re: [Deck] Jinteki Fast Advance

I actually have a swordsman in the deck itself but wrote it up wrong, can't remember what isn't in it off the top of my head. Maybe going full throttle operation fast advance is the way to go with trick of lights and maybe biotic labor too instead of the san sans. Useful post though, may go back to ...

Re: Mala Tempora Spoilers

Hey Callum, good to see you :)

Paperwall is a great card, who cares about it being trashed when they've got a corroder out anyway. ICE Wall only costs 1 to get through at that point if it's unadvanced anyway, might as well be trashed too :p

Re: Mala Tempora Spoilers

The chap who runs satellite uplink has juat suggested a combo of; install jackson, mill your whole deck with shutdown, use jackson to shuffle 1x sea source, 2x scorched, then play acclerated diagnostics. Ouch!

Jinteki Fast Advance

So this one is a bit off the wall, but I think it might work really well. The basic idea is to FA agendas using sansan and getting bonus net damage. Almost all agendas are 1 point except braintrust and fetal. Fetal is to strengthen the flatline and braintrust is to strengthen FA. Economy is insanely...

Re: Mala Tempora Spoilers

Power shutdown will be a game changer, didn't see its potential at first but now I think it'll be a x3 in almost any corp deck. Other than that, some nice toys for anarch, nothing too exciting for shaper or criminal. Some interesting cards in corp, still not quite sure what to make of half of them!

Re: Board Games

If you can get a regular group together, Risk Legacy is fantastic. 6 games into a campaign so far and the game evolves superbly, well worth a look at. Plus who doesn't love opening mystery envelopes of doom?
