Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

Seemingly, we're back to a square one scenario then because all these claims are certainly plausible. My win condition gives absolutely nothing away either. My power definitely implies that bad stuff will happen (and that's all I'm saying on that for the time being) however, so something is definite...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

Yeah, Gryffindor for me too obviously. Might as well come out and say who I am at this stage I guess. I'm Ron (and ginger, the shame) and I'm not vanilla and not on the Quidditch team as mentioned earlier. I do worry with how much info we're handing out on day 1 though, role revealing/character clai...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

I'm a little confused Guy, are you suggesting voting for me to clear Spring? Or were you suggesting voting for Spring? If voting for someone who got caught out in a lie is suspicious then I guess I've only got myself to blame! I will state that I'm not on the Quidditch team, and that I know ...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

I really don't want to drag a suspicion out for multiple rounds and it seems sensible to act on a suspicion during round 1 when there's less to lose. With that in mind: Vote: Spring I hope that people will continue to discuss rather than jump immediately on a bandwagon but I think it's an easy first...

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

Missed the oliver sheningans, interesting stuff, strange way to start for you spring!

I certainly don't buy the whole 'I'm a wizard line', surely not claiming is a better option there than making up a name.

Won't vote yet, but my inclination is to start with spring.

Re: Hijinks at Hogwarts - History of Magic

Could be room for multiple factions here, maybe another house or death eaters etc. The fact that it's set in school probably makes houses more likely but could be something more afoot. Lots of early roles claims which is also interesting. Going to hold fire on mine for the time being, always wary ab...

LF: Article Submissions

We've got a few tournament pieces in the pipeline but I'd really like to roll out some more regular content now that we have a great team to help get it all online. So with that in mind, I've got a few ideas for regular article columns that people could become involved with. 1) Set Reviews (but diff...

Would have bought it in a heartbeat if not for the fact that I have 0 time to dedicate to games atm. Will probably pick it up during a sale in the summer when my life is less hectic! :p

Interesting to see that there won't be a deluxe at the end of this cycle. Still, new cards, Wooooo!

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

Thanks guys, Double was absolutely right in saying that I got a pretty ideal situation to exploit. Hammering down hard on Double was plan a b and c really as barring any troublemaker sheningans, I knew lynching him was a winning situation. I strongly suspected Mendax and Tolaasin of being on my team...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

Ok, I'll be honest, I don't want to leave a lynch to chance by suggesting we go for mendax - I don't think I could live with myself if he actually was the tanner, such would be my shame.

I'm still feeling a Double lynch as things stand, pretty sure he's a wolfie in wolfie clothing.

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

Usually with the PI, if you see a wolf or tanner first, you don't get to look at a second card. So I'm still assuming that it's only his second access that we need to find out about.

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

So taking what Cerberus has said at face value (and I wouldn't be surprised if he comes out with his 'actual swap' at a later time) that leaves in my mind the following possibilities. 1) Mendax (Tanner) > Wolf and didn't know what else to claim so claimed something that would make him less appealing...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

Oh definitely not, he could easily be a wolfy. I don't buy the whole 'I don't know what I'm doing so I'll claim the tanner and hope someone swapped me' line. Rob isn't that stupid. Definitely a contender. Still not convinced by double either, but tolaasin seems to be legit with his role claim so I'v...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

A lot of strange plays in this game (I play a lot of one night with friends), admitting you're the tanner is pretty illogical, and I still don't feel like double is the minion, even though tolaa has backed it up - just doesn't make much sense to come out with it. So unitled - who did you look at as ...

Fairly convinced he's lying, I think we've found our minion and this heaps further suspicion on Double being the wolf.

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

Welcome Double! So, if you're not claiming any night actions then you're saying you're either: Werewolf Minion Mason Tanner Bodyguard (already claimed) Which one of these are you? I can't say for certain who I am today but yesterday I was a minion. Who are you? No chuffing way - calling it ...

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

That's why I claimed when I did, any later and it would have been too suspicious I think. Claiming two power roles in an epic blag would be risky to say the least!

Re: One Night Ultimate Werewolf - Day Phase

I was the robber and can confirm that Cerberus is indeed the troublemaker as I robbed him blind.

Who he swapped will be the key thing in determining who we lynch!
