Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

This is a good point. I think if a person does not post at all in a day that lasts a decent time (not counting yesterday obviously, as that was so quick) a modkill is justified. Not sure who qualifies for that at the moment, probably just phoenix?

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

Alright, while there has been some good discussion, this is dragging a bit, so I'm imposing a time limit on this day.

If no agreement has been reached by 5pm on Tuesday 23rd, no lynch will take place.

A week should hopefully be enough time to get a vote together.

Re: Mafia Mafia - A Rapid Result - Night 1

The new day brings new death. Joey , the Capo, is found dead is his rooms, a bullet through his brain. His notes indicate the start of his own investigations into the murder, but are too incomplete to draw any conclusions. The word spreads quickly, and soon the entire Family is brought together to b...

Re: Mafia Mafia - Death and Politics - Day 1

A couple of other points to consider. Double voters are pretty powerful, so it would be sucky if The Backstabbing Traitors (as I'm now calling the scum that are too scummy to be regular scum) managed to wrangle their way in to power. That means that there probably is meaningful information to be ga...

Mafia Mafia - Game Over! FBI Win!

It is a fine day. You know it is a fine day, because you have all made it your business over the last few years to make every day fine for yourselves. And business has never been better. You are all members of a family. A family that is bound, not always by blood, but by loyalty. And a family that ...

Re: Mafia Mafia

For the sake of clarity, sign up here for more mafia shenanigans. This one will have a light drizzle of theme compared to the splat that was the Discworld game. Perfect for those who get burned by flavour reveals.

Re: Discworld Mafia - Game Over! The City and sixtyten win!

Right then, the breakdown: Nemamiah was Foul Ole' Ron, who had the power to call on my to confirm his innocence at any time. MartinP was Vimes, as a standard alignment cop. Cerberus was Vetinari, who could investigate the flavour of a player. In hindsight, too strong, although he didn't get to accom...

They already got Hitman right when they made Blood Money. That one was basically perfect. Not optimistic for the new one.

Also still plugging through Fallout 4 when I have the time. Played through Pony Island a few days ago, which is pretty damn great.

Re: Discworld Mafia - Peace at last - Day Five

"Twelve and a half percent!" said the cockatoo, as his owner hurriedly packed. It had been a nice idea, this taking over the city lark, but the game was up. His plans and machinations had come to nothing, and they were finally onto him. If Reacher Gilt knew one thing, it was when to cut an...

Re: Discworld Mafia - Bloody Vampires - Night 4

The sun rises on Ankh-Morpork, spreading it's slow light across the city. Those involved in the recent power struggles are astonished to find that no new assassinations have taken place. Re: Discworld Mafia - All's Well! - Day 4

Bloody vampires! The problem with them is that they are very hard to kill, and once you do, all it takes is one idiot dripping blood into the coffin and guess who's back? Luckily, this was not the first vampire that the guild had inhumed, so there were procedures in place. Just not very subtle ones....

Re: Discworld Mafia - Patricide - Day 3

I have since realised the answer to one of my questions - it looks like Elvortel made a typo and wrote that Angus died rather than Angua, which i found a little confusing. As for my 3 most suspicious people: Just_rob, Sixty10, Lord R Bloody Apple autocorrect! (It did also say Angua like 2 times in ...

Re: Discworld Mafia - Night 2

Once it became clear that those prominent in the city were being marked for death, it became obvious that the Patrician had to be protected at all costs. To this end, he was placed under protective custody in the watch house. Most saw this as an unnecessary precaution, thinking that Vetinari could h...

Re: Discworld Mafia - Karma sometimes works out - Day 2

Lord Vetinari had long been seen as impossible to assassinate. There were many reasons for this. His uniquely important status to the balance of the city made the guild reluctant to take a contract on him. His security was the finest the city could provide. Most of all though, the man himself was so...
