Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

Hey Pete! As I said sorry we did not get to play last night. I can appreciate your frustration with DLR; to me it is the runner equivilant of CTM/Hard Hitting News etc. It forces you to take a step back from playing the game you wanted to play and play their game somewhat. It also meant that at the ...

Re: Our Next Alt-Format Event

Are you making a pun based on only being able to use Fairchild 1.0 rather than using Fairchild 2.0 & 3.0? Cause that's almost mean.

I guess I'll go with.... One COPY of each card then. Except for Brendan, who gets a -1 pedant penalty to all decks. :P

Re: Our Next Alt-Format Event

I have been toying around in my head with the idea of having a 2 options tournament Option #1 for those with smaller collections; Cards from 1 core set, cards from 1 Big Box, cards from 1 Data pack. Option #2 for those with more complete collections: no more than 1 version of each card in your deck....

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

Oh Pete, not all of us can report on a tournament as well as you can! Also it will expose that I am TERRIBLE at remembering names! But, OK. Lara and I showed on Saturday morn, Upon my back were my deckboxes borne, I'd built four decks, two for me, two for her, Nothing that janky, did not want to sti...

Re: Cheevs 2017

I am not sure what I want to acheive next year in part because of what I am willing to put in, work wise. The game is really competitive at the top level and I don't have the patience for those lines on jinteki.net or the constant refinement of one deck to make it work for me. (not that there is any...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

I will be brining a creeeeeepy Hayley deck, a spooooky Gabe deck, a ghoooooostly HB deck, and a witching hour Blue Sun.

Ok the same decks as last week. My deckbuilding efforts this week were for the one core one big box in Reading.

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

I have my decks from last week - with a couple of mods to Hayley deck. But I also have Gabe & an HB deck. The HB deck is probably a little dull but I am struggling with corp ideas. The runner is everything I am usually not so expect lots of failures on my part! :D Pete! Exile AND Nisei Division?...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

No worries Guy, let's do something else then, possibly nothing. I did explicitly ask you if you were cool about doing this since I am sensitive to the fact that not everyone likes being the center of attention even briefly. We -- and by we I really mean me -- did a similar "Celebrate Someone&q...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

Leela is probably a good shout for many players. The only problem there, for me, is that I would lean on the ability and try and do more like Logos Leela. And I need to learn to love to run! :D So Gabe it is. His ID will not reward me unless I run and run good and proper like, so there we are. Alter...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

Not sure if i have played Gabe. I gave Lara siphon Anarch a few times to play and helped her with that (including hat time I thought I had won and she worked out a way to get in anyway; bloody retrieval run for Yog to break into my remote *shakefist*)

Gabe is probably a good plan.

Hey Pete! Sorry if that was me. I will try and keep my thoughts to myself if it was. Unless you play against me with Spark, every time you rez a Pop Up I will "Pop Up" and give you unwarranted advice Game wise I had a mostly good night. All good players and such like but I feel like I am s...

When you go in you go to the front desk and buy a ticket, then they will direct you to go upstairs where the tournament will take place.

Would anyone be bothered if I shifted the start time to 1830 tonight? An earlier start suits me better so yes, make it so. (Did we advertise the time on the facebook event? I ask only because there may be new folk that fancied turning up and changing the time may affect them.) Some new folk did sug...

Agendas are as restricted as other cards so must be from the core set, your selected deckbox, your selected datapack or be your special 1 off card choice.
