Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

Sorry I am skipping tonight. Portsmouth SC tired me enough that I didn't want to sleeve up anything new. Plus Netrunner on Saturday (jank tourney!).

So it is time to take my Quest Completed & my Copycat....

And put them away to build some JANK!

Re: Extra cards

Those ones unfortunately you tend to need to buy another core set for unfortunately. For coming down to casual nights on Monday we tend to allow people to put in little slips of paper into the sleeves with a card behind them as a "proxy" so long as you tell people that is what you are doing.

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Morning broke, and the cards looked around worried and suddenly. DUN DUN DEERRRR... One more of their number was gone! :O Nemamiah was killed ! They dimly heard the sound of a Skype call in the distance as one of their owner's friends berated them. "What do you mean you've lost that card? It wa...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

I am trying to toy in my head with just doing almost a Palanaish type build and replace the efficiency of the money with the efficiency gained from sniping out of hand the big power events that Anarchs use. Crims, yes sure hit breakers if you can, but if you have to just hit Siphon.

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

In my defence I was kindly allowed to play other people's decks because the decks I had brought were so monumentally awful. Played a blackmail Hayley deck against two decks that just did trappy remotes whilst failing to find either my codecracker or a way to get it out. My Sol meanwhile floundered a...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

I am down this evening with an unorthodox Hayley and... *vomits a litte*.... New Angeles Sol.

I have a card I want to play, and I have found no deck I can play it in even remotely except an NBN deck.

I also have lara's Omar and PE from last week if I feel like taking them for a spin.

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

THe night came Smashman was killed But again they found nothing when they turned around. In confusion the card had been tipped out of the deckbox. During the night however they heard a phone call between their owner and a friend "Most of the cards are good, I'd say only three of them are jank. ...

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Voting is as current: Smashman - Chimpster, Sixtyten, Cenadra, Tolaasin, Swiftie, Martin P, DoubleAitch (7) Ouroboros - SavvySteve, --- This would immediatly lock voting and kill Smashman but I have decided to leave the thread, a votes, open until I close them tomorrow. This is entirely arbitary and...

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

With a cry in the bright light the Chimpster card charges Unitled and tears him in half - sleeve and all. In the panic suddenly the card is gone and most are left wondering why. More importantly all wonder - was he jank? ----- I can confirm that unitled is dead. No other information is forthcoming a...

Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Hello all, I hereby open up the new game of mafia for NRUK! Rules copied from Nem's last game copied below: 1. Once you’ve said something, it stays said. Don’t edit your posts, even for simple things like typos. 2. To vote for someone, use the format Vote: Nemamiah. If it's not bold it doesn't count...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

I don't know Pete! Crim has some awesome cards up and coming, but right now they're struggling a little.

Good luck to the travelling warriors going to Preston!

And good luck Pete for your charity tourney. Remember your Exile draw; it is an AMAZING ability! ;)

Mafia

Roll up Roll Up! I hereby decree, as per other's recommendations, that I suggest I run a Mafia game! What is the scenario? All netrunner cards have gained sentience and are locked in a town together! But some of them are "jank" cards and need to be purged to make a solid batch of cards... ...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

As I put it on Twitter: https://i.annihil.us/u/prod/marvel/i/mg/3/f0/565528cf83e51.jpg What might this cause? Grudge matches? Rivalries? Oxford abandoning jank to focus on pure crushage of Reading dreamz??!?! And awakening of the true spirit of Brenlactus, but now in avenging forms?!

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

Hi Yuho monday is the netrunner night at thirsty's and currently some of the crew also meet up on thursdays for another slice. @Brendan I've been in the same boat ever since CTM/hard hitting news came out. I used to find RP mildly annoying back in the day but CTM is another game all together. You b...

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

Hi, I'm new runner in this grid as i just moved in Oxford. I am looking for casual games: my card pool is not complete and i am little bit rusty, because in last year i have not played very much at all. I might come this evening if i am able to sleeve some decks. At meeples they said that the netru...

Re: Diggety Cards In Our Meta

I am actually quite enjoying Omar. It makes the defence of Archives a thing and makes ice placement more of a consideration again.

I also don't mind Temujin, I just wish it was a little more influence so not EVERY faction was playing it.
