Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

I am inclined to believe that Chimp is town aligned for now. It would be a hell of a bold mafia play this early on. We always need someone to take a "prominent" kind of role day to day to allow us to make progress. Naturally it doesn't clear him day 1 but I think voting for him right now w...

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

I have! I thought with you jumping on a lynch and being active it may help stir up discussion. No reason to think you are Jank yet!

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

A quiet townie is of little value to us. I agree that it is difficult to choose someone to lynch on day 1, but not lynching is worse for us as we get no information to work with.

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Double:

I agree that the jank not knowing who they are would be unlike any other game I've played - that is why it stood out for me. I felt it worthy of note.

My reason for voting Unitled was simply to entice other votes and try to move day 1 along as well.

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Though I'm sure Unitled will not like me for doing this (We may or may not have pubrunner tomorrow evening!), I was waiting for the next person to jump on board a lynch and then start voting for them: vote: Unitled I do not have any other reason for voting for you than that, I feel happy with Chimps...

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

Usually I agree with a round 1 lynch as a solid strategy. Does the fact that they may not know who each other are change that though?

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

I am a runner card, not usually a 3 of in a deck but always at least a 1 of. I think I may have found something interesting whilst rereading guy's rules post. I think he might be saying that the Jank cards don't know who each other are. I played proper werewolf at the weekend and we had the wolves o...

Re: Jank in the Deckbox - New Mafia Game

I for one am very much looking forward to the part where someone is forced to reveal an identity and we then spend a day discussing if we think the card counts as Jank or not. Trying to second guess our DM!

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

I am still here but I still feel like we are at a bit of a crab shoot after the short day 1 which is why I haven't posted as much I feel Nem and Double are forging the way just now and Im happy enough with that for now, they seem to have good intentions, I dont really like flinging around votes unle...

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

Well I would not want to be accused of being dead weight. However I don't have anything to really add to the discussion at this stage. We have disagreements between people but day 1 passing so fast hasn't really given us any more information to go on for day 2. Nothing concrete anyway. I'm happy wit...

Re: Mafia Mafia - Well there's good news and there's bad news - Day 2

Wow. So I missed day 1 entirely! Getting a scum early is good. Difficult to say if it is worth it for our cop yet. If there are lower numbers then perhaps it is.

Anyway, I am here and reading. Nothing more I think I can suggest than that at this stage.

Re: Discworld Mafia - All's Well! - Day 4

I would be happy with the SIxtyLynch.

Ill wait for others to post first though before commiting my vote. It seems that Mendax did indeed have the same power as me, but the same role on the same side would also not happen so still clear for me.

Nem, still happy to follow your lead on this.

Re: Discworld Mafia - Patricide - Day 3

Teaching classes, finished now. Mendax is obviously my number 1 pick. The fact he hasn't tried to discuss or challenge my counter claim is surprising but I am top of his list of course. Lord is probably 2 but I don't have much concrete information to go on with that. Just gut feeling. I would say th...
