Re: Draft

I'm in a similar position regarding the cost. I do think that the drafting and construction stuff might be fun, but I agree that it's a precursor to the actual games, which are more fun. But it's about £20 for an evening's entertainment (I don't think the drafted cards will be that useful after the ...

Re: Draft

I'm in, so long as it is slated to finish before my last train home at 10.30.

I think it'd be a fun alternative to standard netrunner.

Re: Seb's Romping Challenge

I was playing against a fast advance tennin online the other day, and I could have killed for a romp. Tennin is really scary right now, seriously. When more people start playing it, I predict...the ROMPOCALYPSE. Except from what I've heard on the internet, Tennin can do shennanegans (TM) with advan...

Re: Seb's Romping Challenge

That's a tough question. The only card I can think of that has obvious synergy with the Romp is Queen's Gambit from Double Time. But then you're spending 3 clicks for 5 credits minus whatever the run for the Romp cost you. I think that's a non-starter. A *slightly* more plausible idea is a mill/deni...

Re: Monthly low-key tournament?

I'm Dan. I don't show up often enough, but I've cleared my Thursdays now so should be around at least 2/3 Thursdays from now on. I'll be about this evening. For random IDs I thought we could have a signup before the tournament and you are assigned IDs when/shortly after you sign up. I like the idea ...

Monthly low-key tournament?

Hi guys, There was some talk somewhere about wanting to increase the participation in Thursday Night Netrunner. How about this as a proposal: First Thursday of each month Thursday Night Netrunner gets 'SERIOUS'. 5.30/6pm start £2 to enter. (+ Thirsty Meeples table fee) 3 rounds of Swiss (should be d...

Re: Chronos Protocol :: Cardiff Charabang?

Have you tried John Massanori? I find his click efficiency really helps Anarch decks, especially as Reina should always be running anyway. What sort of Reina are you building? For econ, Liberated Account doesn't get enough love. I like liberated + kati + armitage (+ easy mark if you can find the inf...

Re: RP: 'and you're working, for no-one, but me'

I'm coming around to the idea of RP. Although giving up the 1 card tax per agenda is sad. I definitely think viper over enigma, and bastion/WoS for Eli to get the influence back. I'm surprised Nissei Mk 2 doesn't get a look in. I'm a giant Tollbooth fanboy, I think it's still the best ICE there is. ...

Re: Mini Meetup Tonight

If I had cards with me I would join you, but alas I don't.

This seems to be a somewhat regular thing, so I'll stick cards in my bag next weekend.

Have fun.

Re: Weekly Casual Meetup

Enjoyed meeting a few folk yesterday. Though sadly I could only stay for 1 game. I'm going to try to come after work next week. Sadly I can't make the store cup at the weekend. Maybe next time.

Yes, I'll be there Thursday, probably early afternoon if there are people about then. Unfortunately I'm already booked Thursday evening or I'd join you after work.

Re: Lunchtime netrunner?

Sorry, I'm going to have to cancel tomorrow. My son is unwell and I need to stay home to look after him tomorrow :-(

If you're still up for Friday, that would be great, otherwise sometime next week.

Cheers.

Lunchtime netrunner?

I recently got into netrunner and was wondering if anyone fancied a lunchtime meetup for a quick game?
Thirsty Meeples seems a good place. Though any number of the pubs in town would work.

Let me know what you think.
