Me and Neil both finished with 12 prestige and the same SOS.
I think it was Dan and Gaz on 10 prestige, with Dan having a higher SOS I think.

Generally corp was dominant, both Neil and I didn't drop a corp game. Was similar for other people too.

When are you planning the next Bristol one?

I'm having a chat with excelsior to organise another tournament soon. Will post on here as soon as I know. Annoyed I lost my corp game against Neil. Just couldn't keep him out long enough and the 2 imped TGTBT in archives were my downfall.

I do love the Imp + The Source combo, it gives Fast Advance and Never Advance such a massive headache. Sadly the first couple of games revealed some serious weaknesses with the deck - it was utterly crushed by Dan's rushy Weyland deck and had a typical Anarch economy crapout against Gaz. Considering how close I came to losing both games I did manage to win, I think I'm gonna shelve it for now and dust off my old classic Katman for this week's Brum meetup. Pre-Paid Kate was a nice development of it but I think the Desperado version is gonna fare much better against asset spamming NEH and RP decks, which seem to be the things to beat right now.

Katman is truly beautiful against RP, for sure.

The source is always useful - I definitely had to play around it against you - trying to get that Beale out with it down was very frustrating. If I'd drawn my 2nd or 3rd Jackson and ditched some of the agendas from my hand...

ah well!

Just to let you know chaps that I'll probably be heading to Bristol this weekend as most of the cheltenham lot can't make it. Potentially I might drop the family off at my mother's (in brizzle) before heading over to the tornie.

Hope you still have the numbers for it to work though :(

Hey all, as the store champs season comes to a close (For me at least), I was wondering if Manaleak would be hosting an event in April?

i'm sure something can be arranged if there is enough interest?

Things i am happy to run include:
cube,
draft,
normal constructed,
larger prize pool higher entry constructed?
silly format constructed?

if i can get ideas of what people want i will create and advertise an event.

Happy for any of that, will check with the gloucester guys tomorrow and see who would be available. Usually for the 2nd weekend correct?

3 of us have confirmed we'd be up for something, Si has said he would prefer a constructed event, just let us know if an event will be on and we'll plan to turn up!

Hi all sorry to have disappeared off the Radar for a while, had a lot on my plate ATM.

No tournament this month due to being such short notice.

The next tournament will be Sat 4th July (brought forward a week due to magic releases on the normal date), provided this doesn't clash with any other large tournaments (BABW)

£5 entry, constructed, tonnes of promos etc to give away. Hopefully we can go back to the regular tournament schedule soon.

Did you get my email about BABW Tezz? Are you still interested in hosting now we sadly haven't been able to secure tickets to Worlds 2015?
Oh that, don't worry about that, it's my negotiating tank.

I'd definitely come over from Brum too and would try to get some of the others along. We're not hosting one so it'd be the closest one for us!
