Jank Tournament: December 5th 2015 (Register for your IDs!)

Postby Johno » Sun Nov 08, 2015 10:03 am

That sound. That rumbling sound. It can't be... That's right! Gird your loins, it's

Jank Tournament II: The Jankening
Saturday December 5th 2015

The very popular format of our last Jank tournament is returning. For those who didn't suffer it before or successfully repressed it: Register your interest below and I'll assign you a pair of IDs randomly selected from all available IDs*. There are no other deckbuilding restrictions. You are strongly encouraged to bring non-competitive janky decks, because (a lot of) wins will be awarded to the "best" decks, or decks attempting the most creative things, as judged by your peers.

We'll be at Eclectic Games (don't forget it's in a new location just off Broad Street); doors open and registration from 10am; first round starts at 11am. Entry £5.
Five rounds of Swiss, with GNK prize support. All cards up to Data and Destiny will be legal. Kala Ghoda (should it somehow be available) will not be legal.

Show me your moves!

* Slight amendment, the top 5 IDs on each side (as decided by representation in some competition they're throwing across the pond) will not be assigned. They are: NEH, ETF, Haarpsichord, RP and Blue Sun on the Corp side and Kate, Noise, Valencia (!?), Andromeda and Leela on the Runner side. The Runner mini-factions WILL be possible.

Johno mate,

I flow like a harpoon daily and nightly. Will I ever stop? Yo, I don't know... turn off the lights and I'll glow. To the extreme I rock a deck like a vandal, light up a stage, and wax a chump like a candle.

Sorry, mine was illegal because I forgot to add the new IDs!

I've just realised that this tourney clashes with Dragonmeet.

I will still be coming to this tourney but damn... isn't there some sort of Geek Calendar that lists con dates so that events don't clash? (The Bristol and Aldershot GNK tourneys clash later this month too.) I am altogether nonplussed and will have to have a cup of tea to chillax.

Yeah, sure. Make sure they're easily readable and identifiable (especially Corp proxies) and use opaque sleeves.
