Octgn lulz 2: the lulz-ing

Postby king_mob » Sun Jan 18, 2015 1:48 pm

So this coming weekend we have a store championship here in Bristol, as i'm not on facebook (party like its 1998) i'm throwing this up so people can organize games against each other on Octgn. Practice makes perfect and although the stresses of playing IRL is not really the same as Octgn, its still a good proving ground for decktesting and playing i feel.

I'm king_mob on octgn too, and will be on there playing today/tonight. Against myself if needs be. And probably still losing.

My username is Dragar - if you ever seen me lurking around on OCTGN, feel free to fire me a message. I'm often free for a game or two, and I'm normally happy to play archetypes to help test things out.

What Brendan said. Except, my username is Malefact.
The onesie was a legitimate tactical decision.

In case anyone is interested, I'll be in a draft tonight with bblum, kiv and d1en, which I believe is going to be streamed. Given they're on the wrong side of the atlantic it starts very late (like, 01:00 or there abouts), but it's there if you want to watch.

I played one game on the stream, the final vs Dien (we'd both gone 3 - 1). It starts at about 2 hours in here: http://www.twitch.tv/d1en/b/613910111

There's also a part much earlier in the evening where my draft picks are the ones featured on the stream, but I don't have the timestamp for that.

Anyway, the first game is kinda fun, kinda interesting. The second is definitely worth watching, if only to see the kind of extreme jank you can get away with in draft.

If people are into it, consider recording Octgn games, would be very cool to watch some of the games people here have against each other.

THAT is something id like to have seen, hence the suggestions for videos. I think it would be pretty cool content for the forums as well, people posting vids of their matches. Gonna get something installed myself tonight.

That weyland game sounds brutal, details please.
