Hi Aldershot guys I wonder if you can help me.

I have heard some concerning things about nasty meat damage type decks in the area. Is this true?

Do you guys think I will need my Plascrete Carapace?

Hello lpoulter,

Most of the Aldershot players are cooperative souls, who encourage jointly winning the game. Most runners are playing Laramy Fisk with Fisk Investment Seminar, to help the corp get the needed cards to score. The corporations are playing lots of copies of Medical Research Fundraiser and Mental Health Clinic, to fund their runner friends and give them a nice big hand size.

A good meta call would be Adam, who starts with a hand size of 3 and can really benefit from Mental Health Clinic. A nice corp choice would be something like Because We Built It, which lets you advance all that space ice, letting you slowly build servers the runner can't hope to get into!

Good luck, and you don't need a Plascrete Carapace at all!

I'm only in Oxford but I've heard it told its best to take
3 x I've Had worse
3 x Plascrete Carapace
3 x Crash Space
3 x Bookmarks
3 x Muresh Bodysuit

I mean, you might get Scorched still, but I mean at least you've come prepared.

Given the current line up of Aldershot players* (Iain Reid, Alex Borril, Pete Wren) I would advice that all forms of damage prevention is not needed.

I'm going to be playing scorch earth out of RP...

* I Can't speak about Dave Saiya's deck, as the mercenary is most liekly on some form of fast advance plan...

Thanks guys. Looks like the rumors where unfounded. I'll go with Brendan's advice and bring Adam.

Heed my advice. Don't bring Adam. It was just a joke. Aldershot is known for its Scorch. Look at Rotage's 'tag-line' which is "Aldershot-where the streets are paved with scorch" Bringing Adam is suicide. The chances being paired up with a guy from Aldershot if slim. But other people do bring butchershop.

The first tourney I went to a guy from Aldershot who was playing a "vegan" Gagarin Deck. But it actually had 2x Scorch in his deck. Don't bring the one ID that can die turn 2.

Laurie is a Greek national champ, sure he can cope with our "Vegan" decks ;)

As for me, I'll have a few surprises lined up for Sunday...
