We have the Birmingham Regional tournament fast approaching. After the excellent Store Championship that Jay Glover ran, I'm certain that it will be a great day for everyone attending.
I have no idea how fast tickets are selling, or the capacity they have, but I suspect it will be sold out before the day.
Details from the event page -
We are pleased to announce we will be hosting a Netrunner Regional Championship on the 14th May 2016 at the North Gallery, Custard Factory, Birmingham. As a Premier Netrunner event we are going to pull out all the stops to try and make this a memorable event for all attendees!
Please take note of the following:
Players will require both Runner and a Corporation Deck and the Most Wanted list will be in full effect. The legality of the card pool will be confirmed closer to the event date. All details will be confirmed at least one week before the event however we hope to do so as early as possible.
The number of rounds will be based on attendance as will the final cut off numbers, in the (highly) unlikely event that we can't finish the tournament on the day, then any possible overflow will take place in the store the following day (The store is at the same location).
Prize support will be adjusted based on the number of attendees, the more players we get the more will be added! In addition to the contents of the Fantasy Flight support kit, no matter the attendance, the winner of the event will receive at least the next six data packs that are released by Fantasy Flight!
We will be announcing a number of side prizes throughout the day, such as for the highest placed Weyland Deck! (No really!)
Registration will open at 9am on the 14th of May in Store and the first round will begin 10am sharp. Deck lists will be required for the day and are expected to be prepared before the event. Deck checks will be performed throughout the day.
Any questions relating to the above then please do not hesitate to contact us – full details to do so are below.
For the event day itself we have managed to arrange some additional benefits for all our attendees:
We understand gaming can be thirsty work so included in every entry fee will be one free cup of tea or coffee from the Yumm Cafe located just by the tournament location, (literally just outside) this will be redeemable throughout the day until they close!
We have negotiated a reduced parking fee with the location for the Zellig carpark which is just by the store -though be aware the carpark will close at 10pm. Should you wish to take up this offer, please add £3 to your entry fee and inform us of your car license number so we can reserve your place.
Finally the price for the Event will be £15
Should you wish to book your place via paypal, please use the following link with the reference quoted below:
[YOUR NAME] Netrunner Regional 14/5 [PARKING + CAR LICENSE (if required)]
As we are always booking multiple events through our PayPal, any prepayments without a reference will not be guaranteed a place, or parking. Please double check all your information before submitting.
